Applications of FHE
Abstract:
FHE is a well known tool to build efficient privacy preserving protocols by allowing them to achieve asymptotically optimal complexity in both communication and computation.
In this talk, we will study FHE based privacy preserving building blocks such as PIR, ORAM, PSI, and applications to machine learning and corresponding optimization techniques to achieve practical running time and network cost.
Bio: Jeongeun Park is a cryptographer, mainly studying FHE and its applications, currently working in COSIC, KU Leuven as a postdoctoral researcher. She has developed existing FHE schemes to handle multiple users securely and efficiently, which allows FHE to be realized in more general application scenarios. She also has designed efficient privacy preserving protocols such as PIR, machine learning algorithms as applications of FHE.
